Wallaroo Solar Farm is a 100 MW solar project designed to benefit the local community. This project will be capable of producing enough clean, renewable energy to supply 48,000 NSW and ACT homes.
Wallaroo Solar Farm will sell its energy directly to the residents of Wallaroo and neighbouring communities in NSW and the ACT at a special price of 6 cents per kWh (energy price only, other costs such as network charges will be passed-through).
Wallaroo Solar Farm will be ready to deliver energy direct to local residents as early as next year. This means that you will soon be able to buy direct from the generator at a prices that will be significantly lower than standard retail prices.
